Hello everyone. I am starting this blog to keep you all posted on what is going on in my next year serving as a missionary. It is hard to believe that I have one week left here in the U.S. For those of you who don't know or maybe just forgot, I will be spending the next school year working as a teacher on the beautiful island of Palau, which is in the south pacific. I will try to make regular updates on what is happening, as well as post pictures for you to see. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support.

- My name is Rebekah. Serenity is what I want to strive for. I love the quote, "Serenity is not freedom from the storm but peace amid the storm." I'm an aspiring writer who is trying to find my place in this world. I have a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism, but I've dreamt of being a novelist since I was eleven years old. My favorite genre to write is fantasy, although I do dabble in other genres as well. I love to read, hang out at coffee shops, and just chill with friends. My hobbies include, cooking, drawing, photography, sewing, crocheting, and I even do a bit of gaming. My husband and I have three dogs and two cats.
